Google has automated staying on top of your common searches (be they web, news, or groups) with their new Google Alerts feature. I’ve been using this feature for some time now and find it really helpful. You can set it to run every day, every week, or as Google notices changes.
For instance, set an Alert for links to yoursite.com on the web, or for when someone mentions Nikon D70 in a news article or on the web.
Another great Google feature: currency conversion. Just Google for an amount with a given currency designation “in” another currency designation.
For example, 15.25 USD in GBP, or get a simple conversion rate with USD in GBP. More verbose forms are supported as well, such as currency of India in Chinese money or 22.1 Indian rupees in Japanese money. Some currency signs are supported, such as US$15.24 in Australian money or simply $15.24 in Danish money.
